About Me
Growing up, I always enjoyed spending time on the computer, whether it involved playing something or learning how to use a new piece of software - I loved it.
I was one of the few kids who didn't hate math, and actually enjoyed the discipline throughout my entire academic career. Once college rolled around, I knew I wanted to do something with numbers and something computer related, but not totally exclusive in either direction.
At first I enrolled in my schools Software Engineering program, thinking that it would be more enjoyable to be more removed from programming due to my lack of confidence at the time. As time went on however,
I realized I wanted to do more with my programming skills, and that if I wanted to improve, I couldn't shy away from it. Wanting to focus on classes that emphasized more theoretical computer science and hands-on
programming, I changed my program. A few semesters later I graduated with my Bachelors in Computer Science.
Nowadays I enjoy building LEGO as I have my whole life, and continue to learn and program in my free time. As of late, I've taken a keen interest in the vast realm of Data Science, with a particular
focus on Machine Learning. I'm hoping to land a role in that area as the next step in my career.
